Tiger Woods Special

This guy is back from the dead. Like, seriously.

Tiger Woods, the 5-time winner of the Masters Tournament and highest golf championship has just been presented with the highest civilian national honour by President Donald Trump in Washington.

The honour, Presidential Medal of Freedom, is a particularly special award coming from a golf-lover President, Donald Trump. to a professional golfer, Tiger woods.

From becoming the youngest Masters champion at age 21 to the greatest comeback that golf, or any sport, has ever seen, at age 43, Woods had to overcome both medical injuries and personal - very publicised divorce from ex-wife following a cheating scandal - setbacks to become and attain the success he is today.

Also special is the fact that his last major win was 11 years ago which means Woods' daughter, Sam, and his son, Charlie, were not old enough to really see their dad win the highest golf tournament until now.

Receiving the award, a humbled and emotional Woods said "This has been an incredible experience... It's an incredible privilege to be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Considering the recipients, history and what this means to me and my family, it's also very humbling. Thank you for all your support and I hope this inspires others to never give up on their dreams."
