A viral Photo connected to Lekki-Toll gate killings has been found out to be from NCCF drama scene in Akwa Ibom state

A photo which has gone viral in connection to the Lekki Tollgate gun attack, has been discovered not to have any connection to the Lekki-toll gate killings, but was from a drama acted on 1st of October 2020, in NCCF Akwa Ibom State themed ‘Heal our land,”  by Corps members.

The viral photo of a man carrying what seems like a dead body draped in the Green-White-Green flag of Nigeria has been used to depict the Lekki Tollgate attack. Onyinye Francis, one of the corps members in the Drama Unit of NCCF, confirmed that the photo was from the play titled ‘Heal our Land’.  “The lady he is carrying is not dead, it was a scene from the  drama, Onyinye said.
