Following the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company's(AEDC) explanation on the reason for the load shedding being experienced by its customers in some parts of the FCT, it has disclosed through a statement by Oyebode Fadipe, its General Manager, Communication, on Saturday, in Abuja that it's working with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to restore normal power supply to parts of the FCT.
Mrs Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s General Manager (Public Affairs) told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that TCN engineers were working round the clock to fix it. She said that AEDC had been informed and both companies were working together to resolve the issue and that TCN had also made arrangements to bring in a new transformer from Lagos by next week, to be installed in a month's time.
