NYSC Orientation Camps resume on November 10 as IGP visits Kubwa Camp

In respect of Orientation programme resumption on November 10, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has appealed to members of the public to stop attacking their Orientation Camps in search of palliatives. "People think that NYSC camps have palliatives and l want to tell Nigerians that we don’t have palliatives in our camps", he said.

Brig. Gen. Shuaibu, made this known on Friday, when he received the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Mohammed Adamu, who inspected the NYSC Orientation Camp at Kubwa, in Abuja. Also speaking, Adamu, who said the attack was unwarranted, appealed to members of the public to report anyone seen with any NYSC property that was looted. “For those that broke into this facility and stole, we assure Nigerians that we shall pursue them, track them and prosecute them,” the IGP said.
