A committee has been set up by the Federal Government, to address the problem of fund shortage that has stalled the payment of October salaries to workers in ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), assuring them that steps have been taken to resolve the matter and the salaries might be paid this week.
Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HoS), in a statement yesterday, said the committee set up to determine the shortfalls of the MDAs is made up of representatives of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, the Budget Office and the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
