A suspected Kubwa NYSC Camp looter, Mr Stephen Akpata, has cried out for help claiming that he is innocent of the accusations leveled against him, as he was only a passerby in the Camp on the day the looting took place. He was arrested alongside the looters by military personnel.
Mr Stephen who was among those that were arrested and later charged to court for kubwa NYSC camp looting, in an interview with our correspondent said, "I am innocent and only a victim of circumstances. I was passing by the camp when I saw people running out of the camp, carrying different items, I was yet to understand what was going on when I noticed some military men chasing people , before I could run away from the scene , I was held by one of the military men and was forced to enter their car. Nothing was found on me during the arrest." He further pleaded through the interview that the case held against him be dropped and proper investigation be carried out. Mr Stephen said he's just a poor Electrical Engineer trying to cater for his wife and two little children. He pleads with the residents of Kubwa to please come to his aid as the case is now in court .
