The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS) (also known as Vehicle Inspection Officers VIOs) has revealed that some of the motorcycles looted from its area of the nation’s capital, have been recovered from some ‘Okada’ riders in Kubwa.
Wadata Aliyu Bodinga, Director, FCT DRTS, gave this revelation on Thursday immediately after the Special Ministerial Task Force on Transportation and other Public Nuisances arrested about thirty (30) motorcycles and their riders in Kubwa. He hinted that; “Most of the Okada that were arrested before the #Endsars protest were looted at our Auto Pond in the Gosa area of the nation’s capital, we are suspecting most of this okada to be part of it, but we will do our verification after to find out the validity of this claim."
