Following the Capitol Hill building breach in what will go down in history as a chaotic day, the US 2020 election result stands and Joe Biden’s victory has just been certified by Congress.
Congress gathered Wednesday to fulfill its constitutionally prescribed role of counting the electoral votes that were submitted by the states last month, and they conducted their count properly: Biden won 306 electoral votes, and Trump won 232.
