A top Buhari critic, 'Chosen Somto' arrested in phase 4, Kubwa
Somto Onuchukwu, best known as Chosen Somto, is a top critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, who was yesterday, Friday February 26, arrested by the police and taken to Kubwa Police station, Abuja.
According to tweets from some Twitter users, Somto was arrested and then taken away by the officers at about 11:30 a.m, following an initial standoff of about 25 minutes. He was taken to Phase 4 police station in Kubwa where he was reportedly charged with cybercrime and arms racketeering but was later released.

Nigerian Man cuts off his penis in attempt to Control his urge for women
A man in Benue state, Terhemen Anongo, popularly called Doc K or Bob Korna, who is a resident of Gboko in the state, has cut off part of his genitals to curb his libido.
Doc. K, who couldn't control his thirst for women, decided to take the advice in the Bible by cutting off that which causes him to sin. Anongo is popularly called Doctor K because he was a student of the University of Ibadan medical school. He dropped out in his final year in 2007 owing to psychiatric reasons and has been living alone in his father’s house, having chased out all other relatives who he accused of being behind his plight. Despite dropping out of school, he is highly articulate and seen as intelligent. He sought for professional assistance to perform the surgery, but resorted to doing it himself after they all turned him down. He is said to have chopped off a testicle but couldn't continue due to excessive bleeding. He was then rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

Twitter to charge users for special content, in its bid for revenue increase
Twitter on Thursday said it plans to offer a subscription service in which users would pay for special content from high-profile accounts, part of an economic model to diversify its revenue.
The social media platform announced the potential new Super Follows service at its annual investor meeting, as it searches for new revenue streams beyond targeted advertising. “Exploring audience funding opportunities like Super Follows will allow creators and publishers to be directly supported by their audience and will incentivize them to continue creating content that their audience loves,” a Twitter spokesperson revealed.

Davido disclosed this while speaking about his biggest inspiration during a performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk, a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music in Washington. “The inspiration for me has been my father, a Nigerian-American like me. He studied in the States. I studied there myself. I went to HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), a predominantly black college. He used to work at Burger King. He was a manager at Burger King," he said.

A video going viral online captured moment a University of Abuja lecturer was allegedly beaten by agitated Banking and Finance students for reportedly collecting their answer scripts 45 minutes into a 3-hour exam.
It was alleged that the exam which was supposed to last for 3 hours was cut shut to 45 minutes for no reason, provoking the students to anger.

Banky W and Adesua Etomi announces the birth of their son today
Banky W and Actress Adesua Etomi have taken to Instagram to announce the birth of their son, who they welcomed four weeks ago. Today happens to be the birthday of Adesua, and in celebration of her birthday, the couple who got married in November 2017, also shared the good news of their son.
Adesua shared photos from her maternity shoot on her Instagram page this morning and the proud new mum wrote, "You have a track record of keeping your word. You are mighty! 4 weeks ago I received the best birthday gift ever. Our Son. 1+1=3"
