The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has expressed his readiness to stand trial at the International Criminal Court, ICC, in The Hague.
Kanu said he was willing to defend what he termed unprovoked genocidal attacks by killer herdsmen and terrorists at The ICC. He disclosed this during his live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Sunday night and was contained in a statement by the group’s spokesman, Emma Powerful. He alleged that besides state-sponsored persecutions and brazen infuriating marginalisation and exclusion against Biafrans, killer herdsmen and terrorists have continued to raid communities in the region unchallenged by the security agencies.
