Emergency evacuation of 170 Nigerians stranded in Libya to Abuja happened last night


 There was an emergency evacuation of about one hundred and seventy (170) Nigerians from the state of Libya, to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9pm, by the International Organization for Migration, to support the Federal Government in evacuating over 1000 Nigerians stranded in the state of Libya. 

The flight landed in Lagos for refueling, and arrived in Abuja at about 1am. The quick response of the Minister of FCT is commended, for his immediate response to the request for Hajj camp and Abuja Mass transport to be used for the exercise at a short notice as well as Dr. Mukhtar who engaged the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the matter.
