Hon. Mark Gbillah, The member representing Gwer East, Gwer West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and the Tiv nation in Benue State have demanded an apology from the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Idris Wase, for rejecting their petition against the Federal Government on the alleged take over of their ancestral lands.
This is following the petition from the Tiv residents in the United States, presented by Gbillah, at plenary on Wednesday which was rejected by the Deputy Speaker saying Nigerians in diaspora cannot submit a petition on occurrences in Nigeria.
