Nigerians have condemned the alleged incarceration of a 23-year-old woman, Itunu Babalola, by the Ivorian Government over alleged theft of her own properties as shared on Twitter by a Twitter user.

The Twitter user said Babalola has been in jail since 2019 and has served the jail term for a year and some months now. She is said to have attempted suicide twice, while serving the jail term.
