Police confirms attack on Zone-13 headquarters, Anambra, say 5 were killed

Following the reported attack by gunmen, Suspected to be hoodlums on zone -13 Police Headquarters in Ukpo, Dunukfia local government area of Anambra State, Police has confirmed that two Policemen and three others were killed in the attack.

The incident, according to sources, occurred in the early hours of Monday. One of the buildings belonging to zone 13 was razed by the hoodlums while no fewer than four vehicles were burnt. The Zonal Police Public Relation’s Officer, Nkeiruka Nwode, confirmed the attack. She said two of their men were wounded and receiving treatment in one of the hospitals while many of their attackers ran away with gunshot wounds.
