Following the Federal Government ban on the operations of Twitter in Nigeria, the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has directed all Broadcasting Stations in Nigeria to suspend their Twitter handles.
The Broadcasting Stations are advised to "de-install twitter handles and desist from using Twitter as a source..of information gathering for news and programmes Presentation especially Phone-in."
