NLC may shut down the Country over JUSUN Strike for Financial Autonomy of the Judiciary

In solidarity with the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), an affiliate of the Nigerian Labout Congress (NLC), that has been on a nationwide strike since April 6, 2021, the NLC has resolved to mobilize all its affiliate unions and state councils to shut down operations in a national strike.


The NLCdisclosed this after an emergency meeting of leaders of the union at the Ayuba Wabba House, Abuja on Tuesday, following the Governors' reneging on the Agreement negotited so far and refusing to sign it. It said the option left for JUSUN, after it has done all it is supposed to do without success, is to call for the intervention of the NLC.
