Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has called for a unicameral legislature for the country saying that the Senate should be scrapped while the Assembly should be on part-time basis to reduce the cost of governance.
He spoke through his deputy at the ongoing Constitution review in the South-West Zone.
While declaring open the Zonal Public hearing of the review of the 1999 Constitution held at the Cultural and International Event Centre, Akure, Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu earlier backed the call for the country to return to the use of the 1963 Constitution.
