The two staff and six students of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria in Kaduna state, were released on Thursday night. They were kidnapped on June 11 after gunmen invaded the main campus of the school popularly known as “UPE” and one student died during the attack.
Thr Public Relations Officer of the Polytechnic, Abdullahi Shehu, reportedly said the students and staff regained their freedom after negotiating a ransom.
