The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan known as the Taliban has sent positive messages of wanting to live in peace and not involve in revenge killings in Afghanistan following the recent disruptive fall of the Afghan government and their regain of control of the country. The Taliban, reportedly, are also inviting women to be part of its government. This comes on the heels of the Taliban declaring their political leader, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the new Afghan president. The US has given the conditions for recognising the Taliban government as respect for the rights of women and avoiding extremist movements like al-Qeada.
