Why We Love Kubwa

As one of the most popular suburbs in the FCT, Kubwa enjoys being close to the seat of power. It is a great neighbourhood for parents with young children. Cost of living in Kubwa is fairly affordable when you consider perks like having access to tarred roads, water supply,  local markets and somewhat steady power supply. Kubwa is also filled with handymen and skilled residents whose presence makes living cost-effective. The neighbourhood is also home to some decent eateries, lounges, hotels, hospitals and schools.

The Kubwa Community has been in existence since 1990 as a satellite town of Abuja. The distance from Wuse Market to Kubwa is approximately 26 Kilometres. The Gbagi people were the original residents, but Kubwa community became an entirely new and heterogeneous community as a result of government policy on relocation of the Gbagi people. 

Who Lives in Kubwa?
Kubwa residents are mainly civil servants, self-employed businessmen and women, commercial motorcycle riders, artisans and entrepreneurs.

Kubwa is now garnering an impressive list of essential amenities within the neighborhood. Public transport includes the super uber Uber. Range of schools, healthcare facilities, eateries, childcare facilities, electricity and recreational facilities.

Kubwa is also home to many exercise and health freaks. From the open air gyms to the tennis courts, its obvious that residents here like to get their bodies in shape to chase their dreams.
