Following the order of the Federal High Court, Abuja demanding that the DSS release Omoyele Sowore within 24 hours from Thursday 5th December 2019, the detained publisher of SaharaReporters has now been released after 124 days in detention.
Also released was, Adebayo Bakare, the associate who was arrested at the same time as Sowore.
Earlier today half-naked women from Sowore's village stormed the premises of the Federal High Court to protest the continued detention of their son for calling for a revolution against " bad governance ". Read it at theNigerialawyer.
