Bolt Driver escapes from kidnappers, accuses FSARS Officer of extortion



Mr Kingsley Amaechi, a public transport worker with Bolt, has narrated to Punch newspapers how an officer of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Command,  extorted him to conduct an investigation after he escaped from suspected kidnappers.

Kingsley narrated that the suspected kidnappers, pretended to be passengers and ordered a ride from the Eleganza area of Lekki around 9pm to Oshodi area of Lagos State. One of the suspected kidnappers told him that he would alight at the Law School area of the state, on getting there, he stopped for him to alight only for the other two passengers at the back seat to drag Kingsley to the back seat and started hitting him with hammer while the alighted passenger takes over the wheel and drove off. The kidnappers made it known to him that they needed his organs for ritual and were going to kill him once they get to Ibadan, this made Kingsley raise an alarm which called the attention of some area boys to his rescue. Upon reporting the case to Police for investigation, he allegedly suffered extortion from the FSARS officer.
