Following the alleged domestic violence rumour on Precious, the estranged wife of Fani Kayode, a former minister of aviation, his fourth and legal wife, Regina Fani-Kayode (Nee Hanson Amonoo) who is a business woman and a pastor in a telephone interview with PREMIUM TIMES explained that Fani is a good man, and has never abused any of his wives including Precious.
According to Mrs Regina Fani-Kayode, who lives in Ghana, she said her 23-year-old union with Fani remains rock solid irrespective of a fourth wife (Precious Chikwendu) in the picture. "I allowed my husband marry Precious upon finding out how lonely he was after I moved to Ghana with my daughter", Regina said. She said that Precious threatened to tarnish Fani's political image after she was caught in an entanglement with another man and Fani decided to divorce her, hence she framed him up with the rumours of domestic violence.
