Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), has called on the First Ladies to use their offices and status to challenge and encourage youths to participate in the running of the Government as well as help convince youths in the diaspora to invest more in the country.
According to Dabiri-Erewa, there is the need for youth to positively engage in dialogue with them any time First Ladies travel out of the country. She noted this in a paper presentation at the African First Ladies for Peace Mission (AFLPM) seminar for wives of Executive Governors in the country, titled “Engaging Diaspora Youth: Lessons from recent events and the role of the First Lady” on Saturday in Abuja.
