35-year old Mohammed Faruk has been arrested for allegedly raping a 90-year old woman in Gadaka town.According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Yobe State Command, on Tuesday, during preliminary investigation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the rape.
He also said that medical examination conducted at Fika medical facility confirmed penetration and identified drips of semen believed to be ejaculated by the suspect. The case is on onwards transfer to the State CID for subsequent prosecution.
