The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has sent a special team of police officers to Benue State to investigate the recent attack on Gov. Samuel Ortom's convoy.
Led by deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari, the team includes “experienced, crack detectives with specialised competencies in crime scene investigation and reconstruction, ballistics, fingerprint analysis and other core areas of forensics" who are “expected to take over and consolidate all on-going investigation into the incident."
