A 23-year-old man named Precious Azulule has been handed a 14 year jail sentence, for escaping from the Warri Custodial Centre, Delta State, during the #EndSARS protest, in October 2020.
Delta state police spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe in a statement on Tuesday March 16, revealed that Azulule escaped from prison on October 22, 2020 but was rearrested by police operatives on patrol. He was arraigned on two counts of conspiracy and escape from lawful custody, before being jailed for 14 years.
