FG counters Edo Govt, says the National Sports Festival must go on as planned

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has said it is not aware of plans by the Edo State Government to cancel the 20th National Sports Festival, ''Edo 2020'', clarifies that the ‘Nigeria Olympics’ will go as planned with competitions going on as scheduled.

This is following the threat by Edo State Government, to end the event abruptly over the failure of the Federal Government to release funds.
