3 days after electricity was restored, Boko Haram blows up Maiduguri power tower again

This latest explosion has plunged the capital city Maiduguri into darkness.

It took 2 months since January to have power restored after it was disrupted by the insurgents who hid landmines so it will blow up the staff of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) who later came to carry out repairs.
