The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) can expect a tough fight over its last suspension action going by the Press Release of the Page TV on Youtube. In the video, the speaker claims to be in touch with 37 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) over possibly challenging the NBC's action in court. It also claimed that some elites are behind the conspiracy to bring down "the only voice of the Voiceless" and gave Mr. Ahmed Isah (Ordinary President) 72 hours to change his decision to cancel the Brekete Family programme or be declared "persona non grata."
Following the slapping scandals of weeks past, Brekete Family Programme was to go Off Air as Human Rights Radio has been suspended by the NBC as well as fined N5million as sanctions for recurring unprofessional conducts . The suspension would last for 30 days, during which it was expected that Human Rights Radio would put its house in order and become responsive, professional and responsible in its broadcasting.
