Premium Times reports that Madalla, the border town between Abuja and Niger State was attacked on Thursday morning by gunmen in military uniforms and they abductedabout 12 persons, mostly males. An eyewitness said: “I can confirm to you that one person was killed by the gunmen, they cut his throat before taking away his wife,” the source told this newspaper.
On Friday, the Niger State Police PRO, Abiodun Wasiu, confirmed the incident but was uncertain of the total number of persons abducted in the area.
