APC justifies Buhari's loans

All Progressives Congress (APC) has justified the loans by the Federal Government, on the basis that the loans were borrowed for development of critical infrastructure nationwide. Senator James Akpanudoedehe, APC Caretaker Committee Secretary, said this  in a statement on Tuesday. He also insisted that the loans were judiciously utilised, instead of ending up in private pockets, reminiscent of when the PDP was in power.

Reacting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors’ claim that the huge debt profile could lead to bankruptcy, he chides them for lack of understanding about government’s spending and also said the PDP was locked in a crisis of confidence due to the many defections from the party.
