The breakdown according to States:
Lagos 44, Yobe 10, Rivers 5, Oyo 4, and Kano 2.
- Federal Government imposes travel restrictions from South Africa due to COVID-19 situation.
- Travel restrictions from South Africa, Brazil, Turkey and India to remain for another four weeks.
- PSC also monitoring COVID-19 situation in Zambia, Rwanda, Namibia and Uganda with a view to applying restrictions when necessary.
- The Delta COVID-19 variant prevalent in India is not yet found in Nigeria hence the need to step up border surveillance.
- Work-from-home directive to Federal Government employees on GL 12 and below remains in place to avert a third wave.
- Ministry of Health is working closely with Lagos and Ogun State governments to ensure strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols during Prophet T.B Joshua's funeral rites.
- Minister of Health Dr Osagie Ehanire urges Nigerians to continue with self preservation measures against COVID-19.
