After the management of the filling station raised their selling price to N120, then N140 then N160 and finally N180, staff of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) visited them and dashed out their fuel to motorists to penalise them for selling above official pump price and for hoarding fuel.
Following the distribution of the fuel for free, it seems the station has now been shut down for malpractice. For those who remember this Byazhin filling station was very active during the last fuel scarcity and at at some point they seemed to be the only filling station with fuel in the whole of Kubwa.
Finally DPR visited?! Good riddance to bad rubbish. I hope their commercial activities will be closely monitored henceforth!!! Way to go, DPR!!
