The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Sunday, said the security challenges faced under the former Security Chiefs came as a result of their involvement in politics.
Wike said, “instead of concentrating on the security of the nation, the Service Chiefs were very much involved in politics.” He therefore urged the new appointed Service Chiefs not to trade the path of their predecessors, as doing so won't bring the turnaround in security Nigerians are expecting.
