First Lady, Aisha reveals she married Buhari at age 18, shares her survival story

 

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari has opened up on how she survived after getting married at an early age of 18 to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Aisha in her new book which was launced on Thursday, revealed she got married to President Muhammadu Buhari in 1989, at age 18, the future seemed unsure for her, getting married as a teenager but the spirit of optimism made her conquer fear and worries. She described Buhari as the kind of man any woman will want to marry, adding that her family values played a significant role in seeing her through the challenges of marrying at an early age and adapting to womanhood.
