All of
the seventy-five students of Government Day Secondary School, Kaya, Maradun
Local Government Area of Zamfara State, abducted about two weeks ago, have
regained freedom. Armed bandits invaded the school in the early hours
of September 1 and took over 70 students away to an unknown location,
releasing five of them within 24 hours and now the rest. Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, made this known on
its Facebook page on Sunday night, September 12. No mention of ransom made.
