Okonjo-Iweala makes Time’s 100 most influential people of 2021 list

The Director-General of the World Trade Centre, first African and first woman to lead the organisation,was included in the “leaders” category, alongside Joe Biden, president of the United States of America; Kamala Harris, US vice-president; Xi Jinping, president of China, and Narendra Modi, prime minister of India. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, spoke highly of her in their comment published in the magazine released on Wednesday.
