According to the Presidency, the residence of Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, was the subject of attempted burglary at 3:00AM on Monday 10th May, 2021.
The presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, said however that the attempts were ‘unsuccessful’. According to his tweet, “Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident."
