During a recently released Dax Shepard’s "Armchair Expert" podcast, Harry reveals that : “The first time Meghan and I met up for her to come and stay with me, we met up in a supermarket in London, pretending we didn't know each other, texting each other from the other side of the aisles."
He continued that people were giving him weird glances and saying "hi" while he continued to text Meghan about what to buy. Wearing a baseball cap and looking down most of the time, that's how they survived paparazzi at that one of their early meet ups.
When asked about how Meghan is settling down to life after royalty, he said that Meghan now knowing the life of a royal would say, " now knowing the life of a royal, will say, “You don’t need to be a princess. You can create the life that will be better than any princess’'.
Personally, he is also enjoying being free from constant media attention and one time when he rode with their son, Archie, at the back of his bicycle he realised he was not able to do that before.
